Things about Colour!
Lore:
Several billion years ago, three great Birds fled from their original home and together created a planet called Colour. It consisted mainly of animals, and everyone on the planet lived more or less satisfactorily.
The three great Birds were
Blue the Owl
Red the Hawk
and Yellow the Pelican.
They called themselves the Gods of Color, as each of their feathers were used to mix and create the living beings on Colour, named after their old planet. As their planet grew, they realized that there wasn't enough room for all of their subjects to survive, and thus scouted nearby universes for suitable planets to colonize.
Upon finding our current solar system, Red chose to colonize Mars, Blue chose to colonize Earth, and Yellow chose to colonize Venus.
Blue's planet was the only one that managed to survive. Red and Yellow abandoned their planets once their humans did not "properly" worship them. Following the nuclear fallout of World War II, Blue finally decided to also abandon his planet. He and the other Gods closed the portal that connected Colour to Earth. All humans that had traveled to Colour and were mutated by the nuclear effects became kemonomimis. The radiation also affected a majority of the native animals, creating many mutants of unknown specie and gender, such as Tak. Eventually, only kemonomimi and mutant animals remained on Colour, since humans could not survive.
Recently, Red challenged Blue and Yellow for full possession of Colour. Unbeknownst to Blue, Red and Yellow had already formed partnerships with two humans from Earth. Blue was defeated in the war, and fled to Earth to find a partner. He was too weak to explain himself to Isis, and only had enough remaining strength to transport Isis to Colour.
Ecosystems:
There are several regions on Colour with different ecological landforms.
There is only one continent, and the majority of the planet is the Ocean.
Within the continent, the Forest areas are closest to the shorelines. There are several small villages on the outskirts and within these forests. There are a few cities closer to the center, but a large desert separates the cities from the Capital. The cities are fairly modern, but the most technologically advanced area is the Capital.
The Capital also houses the most people due to its comfortable facilities. The Mail Service is based there, along with the Gods' Palace.
There used to be several individual kingdoms within Colour, but many of them have died out over time. The most powerful people reside in the Capital.
Society:
The society of Colour is much like Earth's with only a few differences.
Children generally are not born with all of their animal characteristics and eventually grow them later on. Many children thus wear hoodies to show which animals they will grow up into. For example, Karu wears a shark hoodie, but does not have a shark tail or a shark fin yet. Usually once children hit puberty, they begin to develop their animal characteristics. For older girls that still wear hoods, it means they are virgins or have not yet had their period.
Since humans have not been seen for a very long time, many people consider humans to be mythical creatures. Any and all pureblood humans are revered as the closest beings to perfection, since only humans can synchronize with a God of Color.
