Name: Timothy Marvel
Age: 3000+ years, approximately
Species: Glass Tail (closed species of PrinceProcrastinate@dA)
Bio:
"Education has always been very important to me. Ever since I was younger, I knew I was quite special. Those who raised me praised my youth, and as I watched them wither and die, I realized that perhaps my life cycle was longer than the average person's. I sought my way through many lands and many places, seeking someone who could tell me what I was. No one could identify my species, nor break my Glass Tail, which I had come to call my kind.
Over the years, I finally settled in a small village that was bustling with magic. Apparently there was a dense amount of magical particles in the air that drew scholars to the area like children to an ice cream cart. One simply could not resist the temptation.
I, too, flocked to the village in search of some sort of magical answer to my species. I met a young lady there who wanted to set up a magical academy to help the younger generation study the art of magic. She was not very talented at magic herself, but I realized eventually that I had a good sense of how to wield it, and thus I asked her if I could help her create the academy of her dreams.
She allowed me, with much excitement, and we created a grand and magnificent school, open to the public. We gathered thousands of magical tomes from the local scholars as they passed away, but none spoke of anything like me. Even after my headmaster friend died, I continued to stay on at the school as a pupil.
I have been Head Prefect since the beginning of the school's founding, as one could see from the years of class photographs framed in the main hallway. At the end of every semester, I purposely flunk all of my magic tests so I am permitted to stay behind another year, and then ace the finals next term to maintain my Prefect status. It's not necessarily to keep in power, although I admit that is a large percent of the reason I like to be here - no, it is because I wish to find out who I am. I know that someday a book shall pass through these halls, an answer that will tell me who I am and how I have come to be here. Also, I am extremely fond of this cape; it has been mine since the day the first Headmaster sewed it for me with her tiny hands. I shall not let her down."
Background:
He's an oblivious student at a highly regarded magical academy, and takes pride in his position as Head Prefect and the cape that comes along with it.
He yearns more than anything to discover what his species is and if there are others, but in the three thousand years of his existence, he has yet to meet another.
Although he doesn't realize it, he's actually somewhat obsessed with his cape; he sleeps with it, he washes it every day and refuses to leave the laundry room until it is back across his shoulders, and he would rather be eaten alive than have it given to someone else. Other students at the school are afraid of him because of a rumor that if anyone were to touch his cape by accident, he would kill them. (Which is not hard to believe.)
Notes:
He was originally designed by PrinceProcrastinate@dA
Glass Tails are also under copyright, belonging to PrinceProcrastinate
As one might be able to tell, he is Harry Potter themed! ;w; I won him in a raffle, he's my first Glass Tail ahhh
